About
I teach religious education for a Catholic school board in Ontario,Canada and I have started this blog as an adventure into technology and how I might go about integrating it into my teaching practice. I know, I know, religion and technology, the devil you say. I’ve said that too when I can’t get the laptop and the LCD projector to play nice!
Faith is an important part of my life and I think an all to neglected part of being human, especially in the modern West. So my interest is in developing the spiritual awareness of my students who often times think of “religion” as boring and something that is forced upon them. We were made for so much more than this material world and this is what I would like them to learn.
In this blog I will comment on religion, education, and whatever else interests me. I’ll try to keep it light!

Hello Simon
I have enjoyed discovering your weblog. I run one too. It is called Tomorrow’s Trust: A Review of Catholic Education. It has been on line since September 2006. It too is based in Ontario, Canada.
Obviously we have some common goals. First I would like to republish your reflection on your faith day. I will of course give you credit and your site publicity in the process. In fact I would like you to become a writer for Tomorrow’s Trust.
Tomorrow’s Trust was conceived of as something larger than a blog. It really tries to be a news source and magazine based website. In fact it has a blog-with-in-a-blog feature called blogToTrust.
Although I founded the site, ownership has now been transferred to The Spiritans (Congregation of the Holy Ghost Fathers)in the hopes of building it further. Blog software was used because it was affordable.
According to Google Blog Search under the term “Catholic education” it is ranking number one in the World for that term.
I am a retired Catholic and Public school educator (both teacher and senior administrator) and am presently a trustee on a Catholic school board. Please check out the site at http://www.tomorrowstrust.ca
